DEMOLITIONS

There are few properties left for demolition on the estate.
The project has outline and detailed planning permission for all phases of development.
LETTINGS
Following consultation with local residents a Local Lettings Policy, the first of it’s kind is in operation.
The Policy :-
- helps former residents move back onto the estate
- allows you to pick your own house type
- will provide a mix of young and old and families on the estate
- tries to ensure that people get the house that they need
- maintains the community spirit
- helps reduce crime
- gives preference to those with the most need
- ensures everyone is treated fairly and in the same way.
It is intended that the Policy will help the existing community to be retained and strengthened.
